Mini Proofer miniature press

The Mini Proofer miniature press, is a handheld flexo press. Because, it designed to compare color samples and help color-mixing. Equipped with a doctor blade to faithfully model what’s happening on the machine for both aqueous, solvent and UV-curable inks, varnishes, regardless of viscosity. The most important, this helps printers and packaging manufacturers with accurate, precise color mixing, increases press room efficiency.

How to use it?

To make Mini Proofer miniature press system ready to use, firstly install the rubber ink transfer rolls (which simulates the plate cylinder in the press) into the proofer mechanism. Secondly, add the engraved anilox roll into this device, along with the doctor blade. Thirdly, you can regulate the doctor blade pressure by the screw in the handle of the equipment.

For color matching or proofing trials, apply a small amount of ink between the surface of the two small rollers. – We recommend, you should pull through the Mini Proofer on the substrate several times to uniformly distribute the ink film over the rollers. The proofer’s modern contruction allows for quick cleaning and anilox changing. So, it is a  user friendly proofer device for easy ink drawdowns.
