How to use it?
One drop of ink / paint or other material is enough for the test to be applied to the substrate. Place a bar, which give you the desired layer, and simply drag it along the substrate to make the sample.
Wired K Bars are produced by winding precision drawn stainless steel wire onto a stainless steel rod. It is give you as result in a pattern of identically shaped grooves. These grooves precisely control the wet film thickness. Close wound bars will produce coating thicknesses from 4 to 120μm. While the spirally wound bars give you a possibility to apply a more thickness coating from 150 up to 500 microns.
