Anilox roll conditions check

Anilox roll conditions check by DigiView Cell Checking System. This product family mean special microscopes with a Micro-indicators. Magnification of these devices 400 or 800 times to check the condition of anilox and gravure cylinders and the depth of their cells. With this powerful tool you can check the shape of the cells and degree of clogging and drying.

Inspect cells:

Put the tool on the roll surface, make sure the object lens not touch to roll. Switch on the power, adjust the knob until get clear picture from the eyepiece. Then you can ispect deposit of cells, cell wear and measure line count.

Measuring screen line:

Formula: LPI=5080 / n or LPCM= 2000 / n
(LPI= line per inch, LPCM= line per centimeter)
Eg.
1. n=10 div, LPI=5080/10=506 , screen line is 500 LPI
2. n=10 div, LPCM=2000/10=200 , screen line is 200 LPCM

Optional accessories:

Digital camera, and its mounting adapter, to document cell status. To record and make your measurement results visually comparable.

1. Install the mounting adapter to the eyepiece, then put the digital camera on the top of it.
2. Slowly rotate the knob until the clear picture appeared on the LED of the camera, then catch the pic by press the button.
3. We recommend using „self-timer” mode which can avoid to blur the picture.
4. Using „Flash off” mode to save battery and get more clear image.
